She was born March 29th 1985 in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina is the full name of her. Gerina Stevenson is a native of Mexico in the family of Mexican parents Alan Stevenson and Rita Stevenson. The mother of two is Mexican American and is American in the nationality. Gerina has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina began to play golf when she was 15 years old. Gerina finished her high school studies through Goddard High School. The school won at the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. As well as volleyball, she competed on the state level. In 2003, she started studying in The University of Texas. She was the only winner of all events she took part in throughout her senior years. While in her undergrad year, she received as the conference's best player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic of Year.
