Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on August 20th 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and charming characters. Adams was the daughter of an U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up in Castle Rock Colorado. Mid-1990s, she started dancing and performing professionally at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. Following her move to Minnesota, she starred in a mock-documentary film called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998) about beauty pageants. Following her debut on screen as a cute but serious contestant, she relocated to Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. Janet Leigh got married to Tony Curtis between June 1951 between June 1951 and September 1962. Her children include Kelly Curtis (and Jamie Lee Curtis) and Jamie Lee Curtis. She was discovered by the actress Norma Shearer Leigh secured a contract with MGM and started her film career in the 1940s. She was in numerous acclaimed movies in the subsequent decade like Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) as well as Living It Up (a Martin and Lewis-film from 1954).
