Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began training in the combat sports. She began training in kickboxing boxing wrestling, and BJJ. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd continued to build on her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her opponents in the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia B beghian and Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia dominated Aspen and defeated her in a unanimous decision, putting a black mark on Ladd's record in her amateur. Ladd recovered from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11, she was able to take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fighting Championships 16: Aspen won her next bout with Amanda Cooper through a second-round Armbar submission. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill as she was able to stop her third round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy in an opponent with a catchweight (138.1lb) since Ladd didn't weigh in. Aspen still dominated Hoy until she was defeated in the second round with a TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her final fight with the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina through ground-and-pound and won the TKO round in the second. In her second fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. Also, she was awarded the bonus for performance of night. Her first fight of note came in her next fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in an intense back and forth battle with the fighters, was awarded her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie took 16 seconds to finish Ladd and her winning streak. in the 3rd round on UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. She faced Norma Dumont as a substitute in her last fight with the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. The decision was made unanimously in her favor.
