April Lockhart

April Lockhart (born July 4 April, 1995) began her musical journey in the 7th grade in which she began guitar and piano lessons. at the age of 12, April composed her first single Different. The year she turned 14 was when she devoted a great deal of time in creating song concepts and practicing her music. Then she began to take trips to write with father, who lived in NY in New York and LA. The month also saw her include additional topics that were related to of her friends dealing in the area of peer pressure disabilities and even teens who commit suicide through the songs"Take" my Hand. Lockhart also enjoys an increasing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and is employed by the renowned Clean Beauty company Ilia. Her birthplace didn't come with a left hand, and that is the reason she's who she is. However, that's not the full story. So, Lockhart's Instagram account does not shy away from her disabilities, yet it doesn't center around it either. What message is it sending? The message? That we are all multifaceted, and that our physical and identity bodies aren't what they appear. Lockhart says in a video interview with Lockhart via video "I don't think that is what defines my character. My goal is not to influence disability, because I've many more things to contribute." However, it doesn't affect my daily life. I still do all the normal things and have adapted to the limitations of my disability. It's also part of me, so I believe that it's crucial to speak about. Lockhart inspires us to keep striving to be self-accepting. Lockhart admits to having been through a series of phases with her physique, feeling uncomfortable in certain situations wearing clothes that showed the arms of her. Now she wears whatever outfit she wishes and shares pictures on her Facebook page with pride. She says that self-love is a journey. It's hard to say when you'll reach the end. This is, however, common for anyone with doubts. It's important to surround yourself with individuals who truly understand you.
